Meet Debbie Shough

" Even after 18 years, I can still say that I love my job! "

Hi-I am Debbie Shough-when I opened the store in 1995 my goal and aspirations were to own a small store which offered reasonable prices, a clean environment and great customer service. I also had a desire to "love my job." I had no idea that the 3000 square foot store on Trenwest Drive would evolve into the 16,000 square foot store that we currently have. At etc. we all understand the importance of operating as a team and I attribute our success over the last 20 years to this mentality. I firmly believe there is a responsibility in treating others with respect and kindness. My commitment to that has contributed to the retention of my employees as well as the loyal customers and consignors. I have always said that what we do is a by-product of what we are about. In other words, we can accept and sell clothes all day long in a clean environment, but if we aren't kind and respectful to people, it doesn't give them a reason or desire to return.  Not a day goes by that I am not impacted by a individual that is visiting my store. I want to know that at the end of a day that either myself or my employees have done the same for someone else. ..."My husband Steve, and I, are proud parents of Josh (26) Edith (9) Derrick (7) and enjoying being grandparents to Isabella (4) also welcoming a new grandbaby in July.
